Puppies and Kitten Adoption Party
It was bittersweet to plan this party since our dear friends are moving to California at the end of the month. But, I was more than happy to help set up Addy's 9th birthday. She picked puppies and kittens and had her guests pick which animal they would like to adopt. (FYI there were 6 puppies and 3 kittens~Addy got one of each).
These adorable puppies and kittens adorned with party hats were all ready to be adopted!
Addy picked turquoise and pink for her colors and we set up a dining table using those colors.
I love how the ombre effect of the balloons turned out for our centerpieces.
They made homemade pizzas and enjoyed them on the deck.
Decorated water bottles had the same image as the invitations which the girls were quick to realize.
We had dog bowls for the cupcakes which the girls enjoyed "eating like dogs" out of. And Addy's special request was red velvet cupcakes. I made toppers using the same cat and dog image.
After they ate the girls decorated cardboard doghouses with paper, gems, flowers and other materials. They also named their pet and gave it a collar.
The pets received some cute names and are going home in adorable houses.
