Tea Party For Maxene

For Maxene's 7th birthday her mom asked me to set up a tea party table so she could celebrate with her cousin. The birthday girl wanted real tea cups with silverware wrapped in lace and oversized flowers on the chairs.

I try to "set up" the party at my house before hand so I can take pictures. You can't tell here but Hurricane Irma was right around the corner and everything was blowing around like crazy. Here is the tea table:

I found these flowers at Hobby Lobby! I have a feeling you will see these a lot more in future parties!

Maxene has a lot of food allergies so this adorable cake is from Cutie Cakes. They specialize in gluten free desserts. This cake is gluten and diary free. I added a paper banner to the top.
