Witches Brew
Cooler weather, falling leaves, and Halloween! It's the best time of the year! So when Joelle asked if we could have a Halloween party with a few of her friends I immediately said, "Yes!!"
We called it a Witches Brew and served lunch out of cauldrons. I added dripping glitter to each cauldron and used my Silhouette to add vinyl letters.
I found the cauldrons at the Dollar Store and they were the perfect size to fill with our lunches. I wrapped sandwiches in parchment paper and served Spider Eggs in polka dotted cups. The forks from Target were my favorite addition.
We served green, witches brew in glass cups found in the dollar section of Target. It is my go to place for all things holiday!
I adore the orange polka dotted fabric from Hobby Lobby for the tablecloth. I glued black ribbon around the edge for extra effect.
My favorite decoration was the fabric garland for each chair. I found all of the fabric at Hobby Lobby and because I only needed 1/4 of a yard each piece cost about $1.00. Using the pinking shears gave it some fun dimension.
I made t-shirts (found at Hobby Lobby) for the girls and added "If The Shoe Fits" and some witch boots that turned out very cute.
We thought it would be fun to make photo albums for our activity. I found plastic albums for $1.00 at Target and gave the girls scrapbook paper and stickers to decorate. We created a page per year so they can pick their favorite Halloween picture each year and have a great keepsake to look back on.
The cupcakes were already made from the grocery store and were a perfect match to the party (and didn't break the bank!)
